PROJECT TERMS
Clear from
the start.
Last updated: 28 October 2026. These general notes explain how Nexeia website projects are approached. Your written quote or project agreement should confirm the terms for your specific project.
Quotes and project scope
Prices shown on the pricing page are starting packages. Features can be adjusted to suit a project. Work begins only after the scope, final price, payment schedule and relevant terms have been agreed in writing.
Payments
The once-off development fee and monthly care fee are separate charges. Monthly care is required with every package and continues at the rate shown on the pricing page unless a different written agreement is made. The applicable payment dates, care scope, cancellation terms and any deposit or milestone arrangements will be stated in the written quote or project agreement. Do not assume a project is booked until the agreed starting arrangements are confirmed.
Content and approvals
The client is responsible for supplying accurate business information and ensuring they have permission to use supplied text, images, logos and other materials. The client should review the site and approve the final content before launch.
Revisions and additional work
Small changes covered by monthly care are limited to a reasonable agreed scope. Major redesigns, new functionality, additional pages, large content changes and work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately. Additional work will be discussed before it proceeds.
Monthly care, hosting and third-party costs
Monthly care is required with every package. It covers routine updates and maintenance, basic security upkeep, small content changes within a reasonable agreed scope, and basic troubleshooting. Standard website hosting through our Cloudflare setup is included where it is suitable for the project. The agreed care scope and limits should be confirmed in the written quote.
Domain registration and renewal are paid separately by the client. If a project requires a paid hosting plan, premium plugins, paid email services, additional infrastructure or other third-party products, we will explain the expected cost and obtain the client's agreement before committing to it. E-commerce payment gateway or processor fees are paid separately by the client to the provider. We cannot control third-party pricing, availability or policy changes.
Third-party services and outcomes
Some projects depend on third-party hosting, domain registrars, plugins or payment providers. Their availability, pricing and policies are outside Nexeia's direct control. Search ranking, sales, enquiries and other business outcomes cannot be guaranteed by website design alone.
Changes, delays and cancellation
If requirements, supplied content or approvals are delayed or change, the timeline and price may need to be reviewed. Cancellation, refunds, handover arrangements and ownership or licensing details should be set out in the written agreement before work starts.
